McKENDREE – Karen Lynn (Monroe), 67, South Fork, died February 1, 2019, at home surrounded by loving family. Born July 24, 1951, in Johnstown, daughter of the late James Monroe and Belva Joan Swartzentruver. Survived by sons, Steven (Lynn), Mundy’s Corner; Jeffery (Megan), Cropwell, Alabama; daughter, Jennifer McKendree, South Fork; grandchildren, Makayla, Sidney, Taylor, James, Landon, Jocelyn, Camren, Kaili, Kenzie, Korrine, Kileena and Makara; and great-grandson, Jaxon; siblings, Kathryn (Dominic) Tortora, Watertown, Connecticut; Robert (Cindy) Monroe; Valerie (Richard) Wilson; Rhonda (Howard) Mackel, all of South Fork; and Melissa (Andrew) Drummer, Portage; and also dear friend, Janette Risko. Karen was a graduate of Forest Hills High School, class of 1970. She retired from CRS as a residential service worker after 23 of service. She was an avid reader and enjoyed baking, camping, crocheting, and spending time with her grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and from 6 p.m. until time of service at 8 p.m. Saturday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., Pastor Gary Shingler Presiding. Inurnment, South Fork Cemetery.
