Obituary of Joyce Pravasilis Joyce M. Pravasilis, age 81, died Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at The Residence of Glen Riddle of Media, PA. Joyce was born October 20, 1937 in Delaware County, PA, to Paul C. and Margaret Lamplugh Eckert. Admired for her lovely appearance throughout her life, she was a campus beauty and cheerleader at Ridley Township High School. As an adult, she was employed at Sun Oil Company and the City of Philadelphia. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband James Pravasilis. She is survived by a daughter Vanessa Walker, sister Marlene Young (Sid), niece Kim Zeller, step mother Rosemary Eckert and cousins Bill Clendenin (Sue) and Lynn Smedley. Special thanks go out to the staff at The Residence of Glen Riddle, to her guardian Cynthia Ellis and devoted cousin Sue Clendenin. Visitation: Saturday, February 16th from 10:00-10:30AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063, where a service will be held at 10:30AM. Interment will take place privately at Lawn Croft Cemetery.
