Joy Jean Lynch Kline December 31 1929 February 21 2019 (age 89)

Beloved wife, mother, sister, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, teacher, mentor and friend. Born, raised and lived in Riverdale for her entire life, Joy was as devoted to her family as she was to her church. She was the seventh of nine children born to Margaret and Robert Lynch. She is survived by one brother Donald who lives in Florida. She attended Riverdale Elementary and Hyattsville High School. She worked for the US Postal Service prior to her marriage to Robert Kline. After her children, Dale and Jean, began attending school, she started a very long career of volunteerism in the PG County Public Schools. Including a volunteer position as the Principal/Parent Coordinator. Once her children had graduated, she began working as a legal secretary, from which she retired a few years ago. Being descended from the founders of Riverdale Presbyterian Church, she has attended and served the church as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher for many years. Joy has also been a loyal member and President of the Laurel Rotary Club for many years. She is survived by her husband, Robert, her children Dale and Jean, her Granddaughter Heather and her Great-Grandchildren Austin, Lorelai, McKenna and Bentley. She was well loved and will be greatly missed.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Joy Jean Lynch Kline December 31 1929 February 21 2019 (age 89).
