Joy Ann Wainwright Addison Joy, age 83, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, February 19, 2019. She was a resident of Loranger, LA. Joy was a dedicated member of Coburn Baptist Church. She was an extremely hard worker who devoted many years on their family dairy farm. Joy had a green-thumb and enjoyed raising plants. She was an incredible wife, loving mother, and extremely caring Maw Maw. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Louis “Alvin” Addison Sr.; sons, Louis “Butch” Addison Jr., Charles “Wayne” Addison and wife Carol, Jeff Addison and wife Mary, and Ronnie Addison and wife Stephanie; brother, Lewis Wainwright; grandchildren, Denise and Michael Hart, Heather and James Matheny, Amanda and Roy Graham, Hannah and William Gottschalck, Justin Addison, Kayla Addison, Luke Addison, Carolyn Joy “CJ” Addison, and Jacob and Ruby Addison. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Colt Hart, Beau Matheny, Kimberly Hart, Briton Graham, Tyler Matheny, Bryce Graham, Matthew and Emma Addison, Case Gottschalck, Hayley Graham; and great-great-grandchild, Paislee Graham. She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Louise Wainwright; brothers, Frankie Wainwright and Floyd Wainwright Jr. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson, Hammond, on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Dr. Rodney Taylor, Bro. Charles Addison, and Bro.
