Jose’s Obituary Jose Trinidad Delgado-Ruiz, 56, a resident of the Cornelius community passed away on February 15, 2019 at the Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland. Jose was born on February 16, 1962 in Colonia de Coro, Michoacán, MX. He was the oldest of ten children born to Jose Trinidad Rafael Delgado and Maria de la Luz Ruiz. He was raised the small village of Colonia de Coro. where he worked as a young child in the fields. He met his future wife, Maria Luisa Tapia, while working in a village nearby. They soon began dating and they married after a one year courtship on November 21, 1981 in Jose hometown. They made their home there until 1997 when they move to Cornelius, OR. As a young man Jose worked in the fields and when he came to the United States he began working in the Nursery industry working for Oregon Hines Nursery. He enjoyed his family and grandchildren. He liked to go fishing and taking care of his pets. He was also an arborist taking care f his fruit trees at home. He and his wife, Maria, enjoyed dancing and Jose had a great sense of humor. He is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Lusia, four children; Ignacio Delgado Tapia of Forest Grove, Francisco Delgado and his wife Viridiona both of Cornelius, Lilliana Delgado Tapia of Forest Grove, Brenda Delgado Tapia of Cornelius nine siblings and seven grandchildren.
