John H Pellegrino 2019

John H. Pellegrino, age 92, died on Wednesday morning at Sunrise Assisted Living in Lynnfield. He was the husband of the late Frances R. (Pione) Pellegrino. Born in Boston and raised in East Boston, he was the son of the late Joseph and Frances (Tiano) Pellegrino. A United States Army Korean War veteran, John worked for many years as a draftsman and later as a computer engineer for Digital Equipment Corp. He enjoyed bee keeping, wood working, and volunteer service at St. Margaret’s Church and the North Shore Music Theater as an usher. His warm heart and engaging personality endeared him to all. He is survived by two children, John M. Pellegrino & his wife JoAnn of Rockville, MD and Elayne Hill & her husband Robert of Plymouth, MA; two grandchildren, Cara and Greg; his great grandchild, Dean; siblings Joseph Pellegrino and Mary Morrione. SERVICE INFORMATION Visiting hours will be held at Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., Saugus, Tuesday Feb. 26, 4-8 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Margaret’s Church, 431 Lincoln Ave., Saugus at 10 a.m. Interment, Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
