FISHER – Janet L., 87, Geistown, formerly of Wilmington, Delaware; died peacefully February 23, 2019, at home. Born January 8, 1932, in Johnstown, daughter of Edward and Anna (Fochler) Scholly. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Walter Fisher, who died August 17, 1997; sisters, Kathleen Scholly and Sister Dolores Ann, Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph; and brother, Edward Scholly. Survived by sister, Margaret, wife of Harry Gray, Rising Sun, Maryland; brother, Francis, married to Shirley (Baker), Kalamazoo, Michigan; sister-in-law, Evelyn Wilson, Ebensburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Janet was a graduate of Johnstown Catholic High, class of 1950. Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Richland. She retired from ShopRite Markets, Delaware; after more than 30 years of service. She was a very special lady who always had a kind word and a warm smile. No public viewing. Family will receive friends in the church vestibule from 9:30 a.m. until Funeral Mass which will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday March 2, at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Richland; Father David Peles Celebrant.
