Henry’s Obituary Henry E. “Ed” Carber Jr. passed away at Power Back Rehabilitation in Hatboro at the age of 85. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Ed moved to Langhorne when he was in 10th grade. He has resided in Levittown since 1960. Ed proudly served his country in the US Air Force. He enjoyed flying his airplanes, driving his Formula V race car, boating, and golfing. Beloved husband of 65 years to Patricia J. (Crout), Ed is the loving father of Henry E. “Ed” III, Lynne Conroy-Cras (Bob), Lisa Saquella (John Sr.) and Merle Lowry (John). He is the devoted grandfather of 12; proud great grandfather of 10; and brother of John Carber (Andrea) and the late Margaret Coll. He will also be sadly missed by his in-laws, Donna and Gerard McLaughlan and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 1:30 until 3:00 at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm. Interment will be held privately.
