OBITUARY Frederick A. Grosshans April 27, 1950 – January 8, 2019 Frederick A. Grosshans, age 68, of Mason, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019. Fred was born on April 27, 1950 in Jackson, MI to Carl and Leah Grosshans. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, his son Todd Grosshans and sister, Gloria Wilkinson. Surviving are his wife of 49 years Nancy Grosshans, their daughter Christine (Greg) Kennedy of Centennial, CO, son Benjamin (Michelle Lutz) Grosshans of Grand Ledge, MI, grandchildren; Blake Kennedy, Luke Kennedy, Savannah Grosshans, Todd Grosshans, sister Karlene (Doug) Workman of Gaylord, MI, brother-in-law Darryl Wilkinson and many friends. Fred was self employed as a painter for many years with Grosshans Painting Inc. He enjoyed working with his hands, and was an avid golfer, fisherman, and gardener. He also enjoyed traveling throughout the United States with Nancy. Simply put he enjoyed being outdoors. Private family services will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home with Interment to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Please consider a memorial contribution in memory of Frederick A.
