Obituary of Frankie Robertson Frankie Wood Robertson, 72, of Haw River died Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at her home. She was born on February 22, 1946 in Alamance County to the late Walter & Thelma Wood. She retired from UNC Hospitals in 1997. Survivors include her children, Joey Robertson (Angela) of Chapel Hill, Douglas Robertson (Sandra) of Haw River, Danny Collins of Hillsborough and Beth Freeman (Jerry Blalock) of Efland Grandchildren Stephanie Catlett (Donnie) of Snow Camp, Alex Freeman of Chicago, IL, Kathryn Gould (Russell) of Fallon, NV, Walter Freeman of Efland, Joseph Robertson IV of Chapel Hill and Carson Shatley of Chapel Hill. Great-Grandson Catlett (expected August 2019). Sister Carolyn Williams of Haw River. In addition to her parents, Frankie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Joseph H. Robertson, Jr and her half brother Hal Wood. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 16, 2019 in the Chapel of Walker’s Funeral Home and Crematory of Mebane, located at 304 W. Center Street with Reverend Albert Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to UNC Hospice P.O Box 1077 Pittsboro, NC 27312.
