Frankie’s Obituary God called Frankie Faye Hulsopple, 74, home on February 24, 2019. She was surrounded by loved ones and friends. A service to honor her life will be held Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 11:00 am at Lakeview Nazarene Church. Friends and family will gather at 10:00 am, before the service to share memories. Burial will be at Zion Cemetery following the service. Frankie was born on July 6, 1944 to Frank J. and Lorena (Bickford) Hulsopple. Frankie grew up in and attended Scranton schools. She was married to Steven Douglas Robinson on August 15, 1961. Together they had four children, Dawnda (James) Bower, Douglas Robinson, Denea (Shawn) Lay, and Dustin Robinson. They later divorced. Frankie married Roland Dial in June 1979, they were later divorced. Frankie is also survived by 14 grandchildren, Brandon Bower, Bryson ( Shannon) Bower, Chelsea (Tanner) Jellison, Jessica (Blake) Bishop, Kaela Valdivia, Austin Warnken- Brake, Kamren Brake, Breanna Lay, Patrick (Savannah) Robinson, Kelby (Steffan) Weeks, Kelsey Robinson, and Kealan Robinson. Frankie is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Her children and family were her passion. Frankie absolutely lit up when seeing her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Frankie was preceded in death by her parents, sister Doris Carlson, and brothers James Hulsopple, Donald Hulsopple, and Larry Dean Hulsopple. Frankie was also preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, Tiffany Lynn Bower and Devon Michael Robinson. Frankie had many talents, which included playing the accordion, while attending school and during worship services as an adult. Frankie also loved to do crafts and crochet. She crocheted baby blankets for her grandchildren. She did not know a stranger and was often led to help individuals through her faith and compassion. She found comfort in reading and posting in spiritual articles in the Topeka Capital Journal. Frankie volunteered in earlier years at Battered Women’s Task Force and loved to volunteer for church activities. Frankie also loved to watch KU basketball games while talking with her friend Bert. Frankie was able to enjoy professions such as Unit Secretary for St. Francis and Memorial Hospitals. Frankie also enjoyed working at state offices, Josten’s Yearbook, Cotton O’Neil Clinics, and Washburn-Rural and Pauline schools. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Topeka Battered Women’s Task Force, and Great Lakes Caring Hospice. Read More
