Frances A. John, 85 passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at Eger Health Care & Rehab. Center in Staten Island, New York. Born Monday, October 23, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of Rocco Lozito and the late Mary DeSantis Lozito. Fran a Legal Secretary for many years, and a former Columbiette, spent her free time dancing and singing. A true performer at heart Fran will be lovingly remembered by her family as being theatrical. Fran enjoyed music and movies, and was a devoted fan of Betty Boop!, but more than anything she cherished time with her family. Loving mother of Stephen John, Philip John, Douglas John, Frances Fasano and the late Denise Ullo who passed away in 2013. Dear mother in law of Victoria John, Atwillda John, Michael Ullo and Carl Fasano. Adored sister of Anna Mazzola and Martha Gibson. Cherished grandmother of Lisamarie, Richard, Nicholas, Nicole, Jennifer, Kamryn, Michael and Dana. Doting great grandmother of Nolan, Logan, Nicolina and Cristiana. A Mass of Christian Service will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday at St. Clare’s Church located at 110 Nelson Avenue Staten Island, New York 10308. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, March 1, 2019, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
