Eva Ann Whittington 1939 2019

Obituary of Eva Whittington Eva Ann Whittington, 79, of Huntington passed away Tuesday February 5, 2019. She was born February 12, 1939 in Echo, Texas to the late Edward Julius Tupin and Onia Gibbons Tupin. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughters, Juanita Burnitt and husband Jimmy of Orange, Eva Smith and husband Donald of Vidor, Martha Ross and husband Alton of Huntington, Zelda Ward and husband Geary of Etoile, Theresa Whittington of Huntington; sons, Elvis Whittington and wife Denora of Vidor, Steve Whittington and wife Leona of Vidor; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family members, and friends. Eva is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband Dean Whittington; grandson Alton Ross Jr.; and granddaughter Jessica Ferguson. Serving as pallbearers will be Elvis Whittington, Geary Ward, Timothy Johnson, Eric Whittington, Kevin Whittington, and Chris Elrod. Alton “Buddy” Ross will serve as an honorary pallbearer. Funeral services will be held Saturday February 9, 2019 at 2PM at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Edwin Findley officiating. There will be a visitation prior to the service from 12-2 PM. Burial will be at Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred, Texas.
