Eric Donald Gilliam Sr., 79 of Clayton passed away Thursday, February 14, 2019. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 18, 2019, at 2:00 pm at West & Dunn Funeral Home, Benson. Officiating the service will be Rev. Phillip Lyon. Interment will follow in the Dixon Family Cemetery in Benson. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Survivors of Mr. Gilliam include a son, Eric Donald Gilliam, Jr. of Apex; daughters, Tracy Pratt of Emerald Isle; Rhonda Gilliam of Beaufort; sisters, Judy and Joe Fourie of Apex; Bonnie Thompson of N. Myrtle Beach; Lynda and Kirby Phillips of Jacksonville, Fla.; brothers, Steve and Jennie Gilliam of Zebulon; Paul and Peggy Gilliam of Selma; Earl and Peggy Gilliam of Apex. Mr. Gilliam is preceded in death by parents; Nevin and Ruby Gilliam, sister, Sue Yates, brother, Nevin Gilliam, Jr. Condolences may be made at www.westanddunn.com Services have been entrusted to West & Dunn Funeral Home of Benson, North Carolina
