Edmund Peter Poh 2019

Edmund Peter Poh, age 62 of Lisle, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Edward Hospital of Naperville. He was born on October 21, 1956 in Singapore to his caring parents, Veronica Poh and the late Eugene Poh. Cherished husband of Lily Chang. Beloved father of Sarah Poh, Dylan Kim and Sandra Poh. Loving brother of Vivian Wening, Robert Wening, Michael Poh and Carol Chen. “Cool” uncle of Sydny Poh. Ed was a proud 1982 University of Maryland graduate,… home of the Terrapins. He had been with Molex LLC for over 25 years. Ed was an outstanding engineer; creative and detailed. Ed always made sure he could squeeze in a tennis game or two when temperature permitted, with his beloved wife, Lily, and of course always with a 6-0; 6-0; 6-0 match. He never gave up on the Redskins as his favorite activity was watching a Washington Redskins game with a cold IPA in hand; coaching loudly as he watched. He was a world-class scuba diver, logging over hundreds of dives in all parts of the world. Ed was a family man- always putting his family before himself. His loyalty matched no other; he embraced his go-to motto and always reminded family, “One fight, all fight”. The celebration of his life will be on Thursday, February 28th at Revolution Brewing, 2323 Milwaukee Ave., Chicago, IL 60647. Information will be sent out soon to colleagues, friends and family. Interment is private. Arrangements entrusted to Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremations, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, IL 60540.
