Together again … As she was surrounded by her loving family, Dorothy L. (Tighe) Hudson, a beautiful woman that lead a beautiful life, took her last breath here on earth and her first breath at the gates of Heaven on Tuesday, February 19, 2019. Dorothy has gone home to be with the love of her life. Maw and Paw were married for 67 years, and now they begin an eternity together. She shared an extraordinary amount of love with so many people and gave so much of herself and expected nothing in return. She and Paw made a difference in the lives of over 100 children as foster parents. Each and every child that they cared for over the years has remained in their hearts. She loved everyone in her life unconditionally. Dorothy enjoyed collecting music boxes, Disney snow globes and angels. For many years, she would take an annual trip with her family to Walt Disney World, where many of her fondest memories were made. She will forever be loved and remembered by those that were close to her. Surviving are three daughters, Dorothy “Dottie” Martin, Dolores (Larry) Ellington and Regina Coomes; two sons, Jonathan (Natalie) Wright and Donald Hudson; grandchildren, Corry (Pam) Martin, Joe Ellington, Keesha Ellington, Mac Linville, Tyler, Brooklyn and Hailey Wright; as well as four great grandchildren, Shania, Tighe, Kaylie and Mykella. Funeral services for Dorothy will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Gene Backes officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
