Obituary for Dorothy G. Loose Print Dorothy Genevieve Loose May 14, 1925 – Feb. 14, 2019 Dorothy Genevieve Loose, 93, a resident of Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg, formerly of Foot of Ten Road, Duncansville, died Thursday at the Presbyterian Home, after an extended illness. She was born in Newry, daughter of the late John and Goldie (McCoy) Wyant. On Aug. 15, 1942, she married Palmer Loose, and he preceded her in death on July 17, 1995. Surviving are five sons: Palmer (Gayle) of Altoona, William (Teresa) of Duncansville, Wayne (Vicki) of Milton, Timothy (Terry) of Duncansville and Mark (Deanna) Loose of Williamsburg; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald; and a granddaughter, Lisa. Dorothy attended St. Patrick’s School, Newry. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, sewing, her family, especially her great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, 2019, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, at the funeral home. Entombment will follow on Monday in Alto-Reste Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mending Hearts Animal Rescue, P.O.
