Donna’s Obituary Donna Woroniecki, 70, Valley City, ND, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019, at Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City. Donna Woroniecki was born December 17, 1948, the daughter of Wladyslaw “Walter” Woroniecki and Maria (Korys) Woroniecka, in Poland. Donna was raised and educated in Poland. Donna immigrated to the United States in 1968. She made Hebron, ND her home for many years before moving to South Dakota and then California. Donna moved back to North Dakota in 2014, where she resided in Minot until 2017. She then moved to Valley City, ND in 2017 until her passing. Donna enjoyed crafting, cake decorating, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving family includes: Daughter, Melisa (Randy) Urban, Deering, ND; Sons: Mark Woroniecki, Missoula, MT, Raymond Woroniecki, Bismarck, ND, Peter (Judi) Woroniecki, and John (Heidi) Woroniecki, Hebron, ND, and many grandchildren; Brothers: Jan (Alicja) Woroniecki, Stanislaw (Zdzislawa) Woroniecki and Jozef (Barbara) Woroniecki, all of Poland; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother-in-law, Bernice and John Sowinski. No formal services will be held at this time. Memorials can be made to your local Dementia/Alzheimer’s unit. Read More
