Obituary for Diane M. Kane (Eckert) Print Diane M. (Eckert) Kane, 63, of Altoona, died Saturday February 2, 2019 at the UPMC Altoona Hospital following a brief illness. Diane was born on January 14, 1956 in St. Mary’s Pa, daughter of the late Alphonse A. and Rita M. (Ehrensberger) Eckert. Diane was preceded in death by her husband Albert on November 22, 2003. Surviving are 5 sisters- Dora Yanak, Darla Eckert, Danita Moate, Kay Vollmer, and Denice Warner. She is also survived by 5 brothers- Dan, Dave, Dennis, Doug, and Donald Eckert. Diane was also preceded in death by her son- Allen and by a sister Donna Eckert. A memorial service will be held on Friday February 8, 2019 at 12:30p.m. at The Good Funeral Home Inc. in Altoona with Rev.
