Derek Faulkner June 06, 1960 – February 24, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card Derek Faulkner, age 58 of Murfreesboro died Sunday February 24, 2019. He was a native of Atlanta, Georgia and was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Baker Mitchell; brothers, Troy and Scott Faulkner. Derek was Executive Director of Renewed Life Ministries Outreach (RLMO) and was associated with many churches in Rutherford County. He was a member of Family Worship Center in Murfreesboro and a veteran of the United States Air Force. Derek is survived by his wife of 35 years, Valerie Faulkner; son, Joshua Faulkner and wife Kellie of Washington; grandson, Oliver Grayson Faulkner; father, Billy Faulkner and wife Judi of Georgia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to RLMO, PO Box 330007 Murfreesboro, TN 37133. Visitation will be 4:00PM to 8:00PM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Private graveside service will be at Coleman Cemetery.
