Deonte’ Lamar Phifer, 30, of Leroy St., Kannapolis, NC, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019, at Atrium Health Northeast. He was born January 30, 1989 in Cabarrus County to Avery Flowe and Rosalind Phifer. Deonte’ was educated in the Kannapolis City School System and attended A. L. Brown High School. He was formerly employed with Wilbert Plastics and was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Services will be held Saturday, February 8, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 204 N. Little Texas Road, Kannapolis, NC. Visitation will be 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM with funeral services at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Those left to cherish fond memories include his daughter, Miracle Johnson of Kannapolis; his mother, Rosalind Phifer of Kannapolis; his father, Avery Flowe (Angela) of Concord; his brother, Demarcus Phifer of the home; maternal grandmother, Pamela Phifer of the home; maternal great-grandmother, Bettie Phifer of Kannapolis; maternal grandfather, Donald Surratt of Kannapolis; two special aunts, Michelle Little and Regina Sturdavant; special friend, Arielle Vinson of Kannapolis; special nephew, Damileon Phifer and a host of cousins and friends favorite_border Donations Pledges
