Corinne Brown Grenawalt Corinne Brown Grenawalt, 90, died in Provo, Utah at the home of her sister, Marilyn Watt, with whom she had been living for the past few years. Corinne was born in Salt Lake City September 19, 1928 to Arthur and Nona Brown. She lived during her early years in Scipio, Richfield and then Fillmore Utah. She attended school in Fillmore until moving to Cedar City with her family where she finished her senior year and graduated from Cedar High School in 1946. Corinne graduated from BAC (now SUU) with a B.S. degree in Education in May, 1950. She then became an Elementary School teacher in the Cedar City schools. Later she moved to California to continue teaching. She married Dee C. Grenawalt in the St. George LDS temple on December 27 of 1958. They had one son, John A. Grenawalt. Corinne continued to teach in the Los Angeles and Redlands School districts until her retirement. She was loved by her students for her gentle, kind nature. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Marilyn and Gary Watt of Provo, her sister-in-law Diane Brown (Gaylen) of Cedar City, and brother-in-law Darrell Foote (Barbara) of Reno, NV, and 26 nephews and nieces for whom she is certainly a favorite Aunt. She is preceded in death by her husband and son, 3 brothers Rodney, Gaylen and Raymon Brown, and a sister Barbara Foote. Viewing will be held on Saturday February 2, at 11 a.m. followed by funeral services at 12 p.m. in the Cedarview Chapel, 1925 W. 300 S. Cedar City, Utah.
