Cindy Byars April 23 1955 January 22 2019

Cindy’s Obituary Cindy Byars FERRON-It is with great sadness that the family of Cynthia “Cindy” Lynne Gant Byars announces her passing at the age of 63 after a long battle with cancer on January 22, 2019 at home surrounded by loved ones. Cindy was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina on April 23, 1955 the loving daughter of Kenneth and Patty Durham Gant. Cindy traveled a lot growing up and lived in numerous locations due to her father’s involvement in the army. After high school, Cindy married Larry Byars on January 13, 1976 in Memphis, Tennessee. Soon after they moved to Ferron, Utah and raised two sons; Cody and Clay. Cindy loved the outdoors, being in the desert, and on the mountain; hiking, resting by a gently flowing stream or sitting by a warm campfire. Cindy is survived by her husband, Larry Byars and their two sons, Cody (Kellie) and Clay Byars; her mother, Patty Gant, brother, Randy (Sherry) Gant. She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Gant. A special thanks to the Huntsman Center and the Palliative Home and Hospice team (especially Ashlie!) for all they did for her. As per Cindy’s wishes, there will be no services. Remember her as she was; a ray of sunshine.
