OBITUARY Cheryl J Bennett June 10, 1966 – February 1, 2019 Cheryl J. Bennett WEST COLUMBIA – Cheryl J. Bennett, 52, of West Columbia passed away Friday, February 1, 2019. She was born June 10, 1966 in Gulfport, MS. Cheryl’s happy place was always at the beach. She loved vacationing in Jamaica; she especially loved the holidays with the family and decorating the Christmas tree. Her and her sister’s favorite color was pink. Surviving is her husband of 21 years, Homer Bennett; parents, Wendell and Kathryn Johnson; brother, Christopher Johnson; nieces, Ashley and Courtney Hoover, Taylor Johnson, Patricia Meek and Rebecca Shelton; sister-in-law’s Jamie Ray and Debra Hayes and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death her sister, Pamela Johnson. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2019 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, with visitation to follow at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 42040, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
