Charles Curtis “Curt” Bunch, Sr., 72, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 at his home in Knightdale. He was born May 12, 1946 in Durham County to the late Thomas Elton Bunch and Doris Talton Bunch. Curt retired as a Foreman with Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals in Raleigh. Curt loved the beach and spent most of his time on West Bogue Sound Drive in Atlantic Beach. Memorial service 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 28, 2019 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale. The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 1:45 pm at the funeral home. Curt is survived by his wife, Sherry Green Bunch; daughters: Crystal Bunch White and husband, Scott, Stacy Bunch Richardson; son, Charles Curtis “Charlie” Bunch, Jr. and wife, Erin, all of Clayton; grandchildren: Alyssa Anderson, Payton, Piper, Abigail, Daniel White, Peyton Richardson, Leah, Parker, Dorothy Bunch, Savannah Bunch; sisters: Kathy Driver and Kaye Rose both of Raleigh.
