Obituary for Carol Lynn Waltz (Roy) Print Carol Lynn Waltz, a resident of Clinton Twp. was received into the loving arms of Jesus Tuesday in Henry ford Hospital Macomb under the care of Hospice and surrounded by her loving family. She was 61 years of age. Carol was born in Detroit on February 13, 1958, the daughter of Thomas and Delores (Jerrell) Roy. She attended college for more than 3 years . Carol was united in marriage to her beloved husband, David E. Waltz on November 21, 1981 in Trinity Lutheran Church of Monroe, MI. The couple made their fist home in Roseville for 7 years, moving to Bay City for 14 years and finally to Clinton Twp. for the past 20 years. Carol was very active with St. John Lutheran Church where she was on the Evangelism Bord, Women’s Bible Study, and worked on the Prayer Breakfasts. She loved canning, cake baking, traveling, was an avid reader. She most of all enjoyed her “Babies” (her grandchildren). Carol was a very loving and caring person who wil be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Carol is survived by her loving husband, David; her loving children Christopher (Laurel) Waltz and Rebecca (Brad) Elmore; her beloved grandchildren, Luke, Noah, and Benjamin; Her loving and caring mother, Dolores and sister Debbie Kingsbury. She is also ssurvived by two nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving father, Thomas. Visitation will be held at the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Rd., Fraser, Sunday from 2pm till 8pm and Monday at St. John Lutheran Church from 10am till time of funeral services at 11am.
