Brenda Kay Young, age 59, of Paw Paw, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019. She was born October 18, 1959 in Paw Paw, the daughter of the late Luther Melson and Vernie (Westmoreland) Melson. Brenda was a active member of Living Waters Church II, where she was a Sunday school teacher. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren and was an avid shopper! She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Young July 24, 2017. She is survived by her two daughters, Laura Terry of South Haven and Crystal (Jake) Shanley of Paw Paw, son, Clarence Young of Lawton, five grandchildren, Danielle, Jessica, Michael, Ariel and Jade; sister, Lewellyn (Jerry) Stipes, her mother, Vernie Melson, three brothers, Kerry Melson, Larry (Judi) Melson and Bobby (Kay) Melson; brother in law, Robert Young; sister in law, Marcia (Bill) Young. Brenda was preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Rogers, Brothers, James Melson, Howard Melson and Edward Melson. The family will receive friends Friday, March 1, 2019 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave, Paw Paw. A life celebration will follow at the funeral home on Saturday March 2, at 11:00 am with Randy Hatfield officiating. Interment will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Paw Paw.
