Obituary of Billy Cashwell Billy Cashwell, 75, went to be with the Lord February 7, 2019. A Celebration of Billy’s life will be held 2:00PM Saturday February 16, 2019 at Fayetteville Community Church, 2010 Middle River Loop in Fayetteville, with Pastor Wesley Pritchard officiating. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service at the church. A native of Robeson County, Billy was born February 12, 1943 to the late Estelle S. and Manly P. Cashwell. He graduated from Parkton High School in 1961. He was a machinist at Black & Decker for thirty-six years and truly loved his job. He retired to watch NASCAR and go fishing whenever he got the chance. Survivors include his loving wife of twenty-seven years, Velma Gail Cashwell; six children between them include his daughters, Tonya Cashwell Britt, and Theresa Cashwell Magby; Velma Gail’s children include her daughters, Pamela Timpe, Vickie Adcox, and Raven Pavlikianidis, and Velma Gail’s son, Salvador “Sunny” Ramos; Billy was blessed with three granddaughters, seven grandsons, and two great-grandchildren.
