Mrs. Beuna Vista Wilkerson Martin, 67, of Heath Springs, widow of James William Martin, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019 at her home. She was born July 12, 1951 in Forest City, NC, a daughter of the late Millard Lee Wilkerson and Lillian Estelle McFarland Wilkerson. Mrs. Martin was a retired nurse and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kershaw. The family will host a memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Martin on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the graveside at Lancaster Memorial Park with the Rev. Steve Martin officiating. Mrs. Martin is survived by two daughters, Angela Dawn Hyatt of Lancaster and Christy Lynn Sousa and her husband Kenneth of Bountiful, Utah; one brother, James Wylie Wilkerson of Forest City, NC; one sister, Joyce Earlene Owens of Spindale, NC; six grandchildren, James T. L. Martin, Angela Dawn Miller, Danny Lee Hyatt, Sean Anthony Hyatt, Russell Anthony Sousa, and Anna Marie Rose Sousa; and a great grandson, Jonah Declan Miller. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Leroy Wilkerson; and two sisters, Donnis Marie Conner and Annette Marks.
