Bernice J. Allen, 83 of Sanford passed away Friday evening, February 15, 2019. Arrangements are incomplete at this time. Mr. Allen was born in Lee Co, a son of the late Refus Mills Allen and Bertha Mae Thomas Allen, and was preceded in death by his son, Tony Rex Allen. Bernice was a retired truck driver and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Mr. Allen’s survivors include his wife, Lettia Joyce Fogleman Allen; two daughters, Ginger Byrd of TX and Teresa Dunn of Sanford; a sister, Frances Granger of Sanford. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 8300 Health Park, Suite 10 , Raleigh, NC 27615.
