Loved By All Barbara Messer, 73, of Waynesville passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 surrounded by her family at Haywood Regional Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Ralph Messer; son, Randy Haynes Fleming; grandson, Jessie Haynes Fleming along with numerous siblings. Barbara is survived by her sons, Robert Fleming and Roger Fleming; brother, Billy Mintz; sisters, Lucy Messer and Louise Jones; seven grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren; special niece, Delores Hastings along with many nieces and nephews along with her special friends, LeChelle Fore and Marie Myers. Barbara will be missed dearly and always be in our hearts. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at the Smoky Mountain Chapel Reverend Dennis Queen officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
