Obituary of Barbara Jean Stanley Barbara Jean Fox Burke Stanley, 79, of Woodville died on Sunday February 17, 2019. Barbara was born in 1939 in St, Louis, MO to the late James and Catherine Fox. She was lovingly adopted and raised by her Mom and Dad, the late Henry and Katherine Burke. She is survived by her beloved children, Michael Zane Stanley of Kountze, Suzanne Eve Nielsen and husband Daren of Colmesneil, and Shannyn Fay Stanley of Corrigan. She leaves behind ten dearly loved grandchildren; 22 precious great-grandchildren also survive her. She leaves behind her beloved sister, Faye Burke Deem of St, Louis, MO and brother-in-law, Donald Berendt and niece Lynda Fisher of St. Charles, MO. She also leaves her loved brother, James Gregory and wife Nydia of Louisville. KY. Her sister Patricia Berendt and her brother Daniel Gregory preceded her in death. Many other dear relatives and friends survive her. In lieu of flowers, Barbara requested that contributions be made in her name to Hospice of the Pines, Lufkin, or a medical charity of your choice. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held at 1PM on Saturday February 23, 2019 at Riley Funeral Home in Woodville. Refreshments will follow.
