Anne’s Obituary Anne Marie (Barbera) DeBlasi, 81, of Pompano Beach, formerly of South Kingstown passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Holy Cross Hospital, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. At the time of her passing she was in the hearts and minds of those she loved the most. Anne Marie was a hairstylist in Wakefield for many years before moving to Pompano. Her door was always open to family and friends, especially for Sunday dinners. Anne Marie enjoyed wine tastings and the beach but most of all she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. She is survived by her husband, Joseph R. DeBlasi; her sons and daughter-in-law, Paul Joseph DeBlasi and Peter J. and Monique DeBlasi; her grandchildren, Ashley DeBlasi, Alyssa DeBlasi, Gianna DeBlasi, P.J. DeBlasi and Alessandro DeBlasi; her great grandchild, Leonidas Alvarez; also surviving are her nieces and nephews, John Barbera, Jayne Fox, Ellenann Keaney, and Janet Harvey, James Harvey, John Harvey, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Carmela “Emily” Harvey and her brother, John Barbera. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours Thursday, February 21, 2019, 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Funeral Service will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in Anne Marie’s memory may be made to the Jim Moran Heart and Vascular Center at Holy Cross Hospital or to the Pompano Beach Fire Rescue Station 52, 10 SW 27 Ave, Pompano Beach, FL 33069.
