Obituary for Anita Hartsfield (Grafford) Print Mrs. Anita Grafford Hartsfield, age 91, of Corsicana passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Heritage Oaks Retirement Village. She was born on November 6, 1927 in Centralia, Missouri to Samuel Jess and Martha Ann Grafford. Anita married Lester Monroe Hartsfield in Dallas, Texas on January 21, 1955. They made Mesquite their home for many years before moving to Corsicana in 1991 to be close to her daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. Lester served in World War II and they were blessed with 50 years of marriage. She worked for the Adolphus Hotel, Singer Sewing Machines, Samuel Place Baptist Church and American Exchange Life Insurance Company. She was a member of the Senior Circle and Second Avenue Missionary Baptist Church. Anita loved to sew and hem clothes for family and friends. She loved to go shopping and out to eat. She enjoyed working puzzles and attending church when she could. She loved to see her grandsons, their wives, and she especially adored her great-grandsons, Dirk, Corbin and Reid. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and husband, Lester Monroe Hartsfield. She is survived by her daughter, Denise Milligan and husband Mike; grandsons, Michael Lee Milligan and wife Kim, Daniel Milligan and wife Tasha, Larry Milligan and wife Sarah; great-grandsons, Dirk, Corbin and Reid; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation with the family will be held from 1:00 to 2:00pm Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Corley Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00pm Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in the Corley Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Paul Denny officiating.
