Obituary for Allen Edward “Al” Ramsey Jr. Allen (Al) Edward Ramsey, Jr., 85, of Buckwood Drive, went home to be with his heavenly father Monday, February 11, 2019 at Elderberry Health Care surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Allen Edward Ramsey, Sr. and Ruth Mills Ramsey. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Dianne White Ramsey. Al was a US Navy Veteran. He is survived by daughters, Jennifer Saucier (Darrell), Diana Arrowood (Eugene Norton) and Rebecca Conley (Chris); grandchildren, Dylan Shetley (Jessica), Caden Arrowood, Miranda Saucier, Samantha and Amanda Wharton, Trinity and Gabby Conley; great grandson, Oliver Shetley; step great grandchildren; McKinley, Christian and Jesse Pritchard; brother-in-law, Roy White (Michelle) and their children, William and Samantha; special niece, Amanda Caldwell (Samuel) and their children, Dalton and Waylon and special nephew, Scott White. The family will receive friends 6:00–8:00PM Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. A graveside service will be held 2:00PM Wednesday, at Hunter Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Dean Hensley will officiate. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 1:15PM.
