William’s Obituary William Marvin Hunt, Sr, 85, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away on January 13, 2019 at home after a brief battle with lung cancer. He was born to Raymond and Alta Pauline (Parker) Hunt on March 3, 1933 in Haskell, OK. He went to school at Southeast High School in Oklahoma City. He worked as a maintenance man for Muskogee Public Schools until his retirement in 1998. He was a proud veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Navy (both active duty and Reserves). He was an avid hunter; he enjoyed fixing up cars and building stuff in his shop; and he was known to all as a kind, generous man with a keen sense of humor and a passion for living life to the fullest. William is preceded in death by his father Raymond, his mother Pauline, his wife Evelyn, his wife Ruby Jean, his daughter Donita, his son William Jr, his son Ray Paul, his brother Jack, and his sister Julia. He is survived by granddaughter Anastasia Hunt-Bearrentine of the home; grandson Jason Hunt (Jennifer) of Oklahoma City; granddaughter Donita Hunt of Wellston; granddaughters Vickie and Bobbie Hunt of Pocatello, Idaho; great grandsons Benito and Miguel Salazar of Oklahoma City; great grandson Aamree Hunt of Pocatello, ID; nephew Derrick Guevara of Muskogee; and numerous extended family and friends. Pallbearers will be Jason Hunt, Derrick Guevara, Chet Hudgins, Chuck Hudgins, Joe Anthony Guerrero, and Clint Rohr. William’s family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff of the VA Hospital in Muskogee and Emerald Hospice of Wagoner for their help and support during his illness.
