Mr. William “Billy” Hilton Swayze, age 32 of Franklin, KY, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 2:23 AM from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Franklin, KY. Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, January 24, 2019 with burial to follow in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY. Billy was born December 18, 1986 in Bowling Green, KY to Bruce Swayze and Bonnie Spencer Swayze who both survive of Franklin, KY. Additional survivors include his brother Beau Andrew Swayze of Los Angeles, CA, an uncle, Richard Spencer of Hot Springs, AR, three aunts, Nancy Spencer of Hot Springs, AR, Wanda Spencer of Elephant Butte, NM and Susie Spencer of Miami, FL, and several cousins also survive. Billy was a member of the First United Methodist Church, he was a 2005 Franklin Simpson Graduate. He was owner of Thunder Sound Recording Studio and he was the corporate secretary for his family’s business Alliance Rubber Company. HE participated and toured with various bands. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Gilbert Funeral Home.
