Cook, Jr., 83, of Covington, passed away on Wednesday, January 23. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 26 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Northridge/Woodhaven Cemetery in Millington. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Cook was a U. S. Navy veteran, a retired truck driver for Gordon’s Transport and a member of the Teamsters Local 667. He is survived by one son, William C. Cook, III of Covington; one daughter, Tina Anderson of Covington; two sisters, Martha Dobbs of College Station, TX and Betty Jo Terri of Memphis; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
