Virginia Scales Lowe, 78, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. A native of Starkville, Mississippi, born April 12, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Hunter Ledbetter Scales and Mary Herron Scales. She received her undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University where she later returned to complete her Masters.
