OBITUARY Vernon Silva May 22, 1923 – January 4, 2019 Vernon Silva, 95, of Forest Street, Greeneville, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at Brookdale Assisted Living. He retired from construction work. He was a member of Greeneville Seventh-day Adventist Church. Survivors include a son: Dennis Silva; daughter and son-in-law: Lynn and Kyle Treat of Tucson, Arizona; grandchildren: Jennifer Becker and Jason Silva; great grandchildren: Mason Becker, and Skylar, Avion, and Winston Becker; sister: Loretta Martin; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife: Edna Silva; wife: Helen Silva; wife: Opal Silva; two sons: Victor Silva and Michael Silva; parents: Aaron and Maudie Silva; sister: Gloria Burris; and brother: Aaron Silva, Jr. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jeremy Arnall officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
