Thomas Tovey May 3 1966 – January 9 2019

Obituary for Thomas Tovey Thomas Edward Tovey passed peacefully on the evening of January 9, 2019 at 11:00pm at the Halifax Hospice Center in Ormond Beach, Florida. Tom was born on May 3, 1966 and grew up as a child in Oregon. However, he spent most of his life in Florida. His passion for boating, especially sail boating was what made him happy. He was never more at home anywhere than when he was living on his boat. The only thing he could have possibly loved more was the love he had for his dogs. His smile was contagious and he could always make you feel good no matter how bad you were feeling at the time, and he always had time to lend a helping hand for a friend in need no matter when it was. He is survived by his best friend Edward Coughlin and Jasmine his beloved canine companion from Daytona Beach, as well as his sisters Martha and Mary from New Mexico, and his brother Joe from Oregon. Any contributions to the Lymphoma Cancer Foundation and The American Heart Association in Tom’s name would be greatly appreciated. A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at Eddie, Tanner and Jasmine’s house on Saturday, January 19, 2018 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
