Thomas F. Petersen, age 75, peacefully passed away January 17, 2019 at Alden of Long Grove. He was born August 7, 1943 in Woodstock, IL to Floyd and Clara (Westphal) Petersen. Thomas enjoyed fishing, spending time outdoors and taking the train to the Arlington Horse Park. He loved spending time with his children and loved his grandchildren. He is survived by his children; Jeff (Karen) Petersen and Paige (Ken) Kohley, grandchildren; Alex, Evan, Mitch, Tori, Dylan, Drew and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Evelyn and brother Charles. A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 10:00am until the 12:00pm service at Schneider, Leucht, Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home 1211 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock IL 60098. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association Illinois Chapter 1111 S.
