Born to Lawrence and Ruth (Jones) Whitehouse in Grove City on July 4, 1956. He married Janet L. Kemery on Oct. 28, 1977; she survives at home. Terry graduated from Grove City High School and Mercer County Vo-Tech in 1974. He was employed as an auto and diesel mechanic and ended his career at Cooper Bessemer. He had a passion for automobiles. Terry could identify the year and model of any old car just by looking at it. In his youth he raced modified cars with his father at local dirt tracks and he remained an avid race fan all of his life. Terry enjoyed traveling with his family to sites throughout the U.S. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Grove City for 50 years. In addition to his wife, Janet, his mother, Ruth Whitehouse, 3 children; Jaclyn, Jeremy and wife Michelle, and Jill and fiancé Ben, and the grandchildren who always brightened his days; Lilly, Micheal, Hannah and Matilda Leigh, survive him. His father preceded him in death.
