Sylvia (Copeland) Silva, 80, of Middleboro, MA passed away January 6, 2018 at Morton Hospital in Taunton, MA. She was the wife of the late Bruce Silva. Born in Bridgewater she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Emmeline (Westgate) Copeland. Sylvia was a long time resident of Middleboro and had worked for Lorenzo’s and McDonalds and took care of elderly ladies at night in their homes. She loved horses, gardening, cats, walking and most of all spending time with her family and friends. She was a strong woman loved by all. She is survived by 2 sons Robert Silva and Richard Silva and his wife Tracy; 2 grandchildren Kelly Silva and Ryan Maxim; 1 great-granddaughter Alyson Allen; 2 sisters Dorothy Reposa and her husband Jeff and Gail Perry; a brother James Westgate and his wife Priscilla and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Kenneth Copeland, Karen Simmons and Lani Copeland. Memorial visitation will take place on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 2-5 PM in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 280 Bedford St. Lakeville, MA 02347
