SUSAN GRACE WHITT LONG age 62, of 901 Ridge Road, Roxboro, NC died Saturday morning, January 12, 2019 at Roxboro Healthcare & Rehabilitation. Mrs. Long was born October 9, 1956 in Durham County, NC, daughter of the late Eddie Carlton Whitt, Jr. & the late Martha Ellis Whitt. She worked as a baker for Winn Dixie until she became unable and was a member of Ellis Chapel United Methodist Church. Surviving are an uncle, Joe Whitt & wife, Carrie of Rougemont, NC and a host of cousins. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Long is preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Frank Whitt. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2019 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Everett Gardner officiating. Interment will follow in the Ellis Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends and guests for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
