Sisto R. Ramirez, 83, of Wauchula, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Palms of Sebring. He was born in Elsa, Texas on March 28, 1935 and came to Hardee County from Texas in 1967. Sisto was a Catholic and had been employed as a laborer in agriculture. He was preceded in death by his parents, Larazo Ramirez and Felicita Gonzales, and a son, Larry Andrew “Andy” Ramirez. Survivors include four sons, Sisto Ramirez, Jr., Jefffery Bryant Ramirez, and Mark James Ramirez, all of Wauchula, and Kristopher Ramirez of Live Oak; four daughters, Cynthia Rose Perez of Wauchula, Gloria Rosalinda Sanders of North Carolina, Donna Lee Torres of Michigan, and Mary Helen Ramirez of Arcadia; a granddaughter whom he raised, Aleeza Roxann Arguijo of Tennessee; one sister, Ofelia Ramirez of Fort Meade; 25 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Robarts Garden Chapel on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral Service is at 7:00. PM.
