Obituary for Shirley Ann Phillips Kyle Shirley Ann Phillips Kyle, age 77, of Sweetwater, passed away on Friday, January 04, 2019 at the family home. Shirley was known for her strong faith in God and her love and dedication to her family. She was a member of Cedar Valley Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years: Amos Dean Kyle, father and mother: Jack and Cora Lee Schrimsher Phillips, brothers: Charles Edward, George Dennis, and William Douglas Phillips, sister Carleen Phillips Ballew. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law: Donald Dean and Debbie Kyle, Jack Allen and Lori Kyle, Dennis Timothy and Amy Kyle, daughters and son-in-law: Donna Jane McCammon, Tabitha Annette and Robby Woodby, grandchildren: Sonja Cannon, Katie Kyle, Daniel Kyle, Becky Liddicoat, Candice Kyle, Suzie Anderson, Seth Woodby, Kirt Woodby, Shane McCammon, Casey Kyle, and Connor Kyle, great-grandchildren: Hope Liddicoat, Faith Liddicoat, Tori Cannon, Gabe Cannon, Noah Liddicoat, Michaille Anderson, Kaylee Kyle, Ansley Kyle, Coralee Anderson, Nehemiah Woodby, Lydia Woodby, brothers and sister-in-law: J.D. and Sandy Phillips, James R. Phillips, sisters and brothers-in-law: Deloris Phillips Goodman (Robert), Wanda Phillips Presley, Linda Joan Phillips Arden, Brenda Phillips, Jacqueline Phillips Ervin (Harold), Verna Phillips Paul (George) and Debbie Phillips Baines (Sammy), several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 P.M. in Kyker’s Chapel with Rev. Joel Tilson officiating. Interment 11:00 A.M. Monday in the Murray’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be given to Jehovah Jireh Ministries, INC. care of Tabitha Kyle Woodby, 335 Co. Rd. 299 Sweetwater, TN 37874. This is the feeding ministry that grew out of the mission trip to Nicaragua right after her husband Dean’s death. Shirley was a big part of this ministry up until her illness.
