“Sherri” Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Sharron Dee Bletzacker passed away January 14, 2019 surrounded by loving family. She was born January 21, 1942 in Half Moon Bay, California to Thomas Parrot Dee and Afton Bost. Sherry was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was the great-granddaughter of John Taylor, 3rd President of the LDS Church. She earned the Primary 15 year service pin, and worked many years in the Relief Society organization. Sherry attended San Jose Community, Gavilan, and Northern VA Community colleges. She was married to Jerry Lynn Bletzacker. Sherri is survived by her husband, Jerry; children: Denise and Michael, (Sherri’s stars); 5 grandchildren: Alan, Arin, Jessica, Kristen, and Gregory (Sherri’s angels); and 4 great-grandchildren: Courtnee, Baylee, Delilah Bletzacker and Justin Norris (Sherri’s treasures). She was preceded in death by her parents. A viewing will be held Friday, January 18, 2019 from 10:00-11:15 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray. Graveside Services will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Avenue and N Street, Salt Lake City, Utah. Online condolences may be shared at www.jenkins-soffe.com.
