Sharron Ann Downing, age 80, died Monday, January 28, 2019 in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born January 5, 1939 in Los Angeles, California to Leon and Beatrice Willie Baker Rhodes. On August 29, 1978 she married James Wain “Jim” Downing in LaPuente, California. Sharron grew up in Southern California, she spent many years in the San Fernando Valley. In 1992, her and Jim relocated to Logandale, Nevada. She worked as a waitress and in retail and was always friendly. She loved time with family and Jim, BBQ’s, drinking beer and watching football. She loved the trip to Alaska and other adventures. She is survived by her husband, Jim of Logandale, NV; two sons and three daughters: Kimberly Lewis of St. George, UT; Kelly Arroya of Overton, NV; Karrie Clark of MS; Keith Beard of CA; Kit (Marta) Downing of CA; eleven grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and one brother, Mickey Rhodes of OR. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Sue and one granddaughter, Stormi.
