Obituary for Santos Aida De Hoyos Villarreal Santos Aida De Hoyos Villarreal, age 71, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 here in Del Rio. She was born on September 23, 1947 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico. Preceding her in death were her parents, Simona and Evelio De Hoyos; and brother, Jose Antonio De Hoyos; Family members left to cherish her memory include her daughters: Aida Campos and husband Larry of Del Rio, and Karina Castañeda and husband Roman of Monterrey, MX; their father, Juan Enrique Castañeda Luna of Cd. Acuña, MX; grandchildren, Daniela Ortiz and husband Sergio Guerra and Nathaniel Campos; brothers/sisters: Evelio De Hoyos and wife Martha of Cd. Acuña, Silvano De Hoyos and wife Yolanda, Luis De Hoyos and wife Maria Antonieta, Juan Andres De Hoyos, Maria Dolores and husband Carlos, and Fortunato De Hoyos, all of Piedras Negras; Santos Aida is also survived by many other relatives and close friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 to 9 in the Trinity Chapel of Faith. A prayer service will begin at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
